Nestled in the middle of the West Wiltshire Downs, a nationally designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the borders of Wiltshire, Somerset & Dorset you will find our warm, welcoming country inn.

This grand Georgian building built by the Duke of Somerset was originally meant to be a railway hotel. Sadly the railway never arrived at Maiden Bradley but as a result the village gained this magnificent inn which sits at the heart of the community across the road from the community run village shop and a stones throw away from a 12 century church and the Duke’s seat at Bradley House.

Situated only 4 miles from the breathtaking National Trust gardens at Stourhead, 4 miles from Longleat Safari Park and a short 30 minute drive from the World Heritage site at Stonehenge, you really couldn’t ask for a more perfect location to have a break from the hustle and bustle of life.
